It’s hard trying to live for yourself
to shake that dust off your desires
thumb them like a lifelong wound
how fulfilled are you I am so clearly
a freshly made bed of issues
folded beneath crisp sheets; it should be simple
to make a life out of this (privilege) but I am somewhere else
I am scared I am addicted to my ostrich happinesses, losing my head in the simplest things
